When Kathy Tank, whose story is told in the book "River of Hope: My Journey with Kathy in Search of Healing from Lou Gehrig's Disease," was battling her illness, friends and family had a difficult time finding suitable greeting cards to send her. They would read that her disease was considered to be always fatal, so the typical get-well-quick cards didn't seem appropriate. Kathy was determined to beat the disease and was looking for words of encouragement; words of hope.

These Notes of Hope cards are for those situations. Each features one of Kathy's garden photographs, taken in her own gardens.
